TurboNet Removal Instructions

1.       Click on Start button

2.       Click on all Programs

3.       Locate TurboNet

4.       Select uninstall  TurboNet

5.      

 

 

  1. Choose un-install and then click next.

        

  1. Choose yes I want to restart my computer , then  click ok.

    

  1. When the computer comes back on, click on the  start button then click run

  

  1. Type cmd  in the white box and then click on ok.

 

 

  1. A Black box will appear on the screen

  1. Type in WITHOUT THE QUOTES  “netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt” and hit enter.
  2. Click the “X” in the top right corner to get out of the window.
  3. Click Start,
  4. and then choose Shutdown/Turnoff ,
  5.  and then select Restart

Now use this guide to perform a reinstalling of TCP/IP protocol in Vista:

  1. Click on Start button.

  2. Type cmd in the Start Search text box.

  3. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request.

  4. Type netsh int ip reset in the Command Prompt shell, and then press the Enter key.

  5. Restart the computer.

 

Now Use this guide to remove the  TurboNet proxy servers.

 

1. In internet explorer,

2. Click tools

3. Click internet options

4. Click the Connections tab

5. Click on the button labeled Settings

6. Make sure Use a proxy  server for this connection is unchecked.

7. Click OK

8.  Reboot the computer and try Internet Explorer without TurboNet

 

Firefox users:

1. Bring up Mozilla Firefox

2. Click on tools, then options

3. Click on advanced, then  Network

4. Click on settings

5. "Direct connection to the internet" should be selected

 

OR

SOLUTION #2

1.       Delete the dial up connection.

2.        Un-Install TurboNet

3.        Remake dialer.

a.       This will bypass any tcp/ip reset stack and will prevent 720 errors, and is quicker.
